Mounting the burner

Separate burner documentation
Danger
When working with high temperature insulating
materials that contain zirconium or aluminium
silicate ceramic fibres, fibre dust may
develop. This fibre dust can be harmful to
health.
Only trained personnel may adjust or replace
the insulation. Wear suitable protective clothing,
especially breathing equipment and safety gog-
gles.
Boilers up to 120 kW:
The burner fixing hole circle, burner fixing holes and
flame tube aperture comply with EN 226; see data-
sheet.
Boilers from 150 kW:
Cut out the burner fixing hole circle, burner fixing
holes and flame tube aperture as specified in the
datasheet.
The burner can be fitted directly to the hinged boiler
door.
If the burner dimensions deviate from those in the
datasheet, mount the burner tile that is part of the
standard delivery.
24
(cont.)
1. Cut out the thermal insulation mat in the boiler door
to suit the flame tube diameter.
2. Mount the burner.
Note
The flame tube must protrude from the thermal
insulation of the boiler door.
To safeguard perfect function, maintain the
required minimum blast tube length.
3. Seal the annular gap between the flame tube and
the thermal insulation block with the flame tube
gasket supplied.
Note
Failure to observe this can result in boiler door
damage due to excessive temperatures.
4. Close the boiler door. Tighten the screws diago-
nally (torque 25 Nm).
