Removing & Installing Body Components
# Removal
1.
CRF1100A/D
Remove the bolts A and washers. using
the hex wrench provided on the
underside of the rear seat.
2.
CRF1100A2/A4/D2/D4
Remove the bolt B, bolts A and washers.
using the hex wrench provided on the
underside of the rear seat.
Remove the collar.

Remove the skid plate by releasing its

grommet from the prong.

# Installation
Install the skid plate in the reverse order

of removal.
Install the collar.

P. 255 Install the washers onto the bolts A.

Tighten the bolts A.
4.
Torque: 26 N·m (2.7 kgf·m, 19 lbf·ft).

Tighten the bolt B.
Torque: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft).
