S Shielded conductor leads. Each lead is individually shielded.
All shields are connected to pin 7.
Notes:
1.
PIN positions that are not specified must not be wired.
2. All the wires should be enclosed within a shield, and this shield should be
connected to the connector housing.
3. PIN 13 must not be connected.
4. At the 3708, PINs 2, 4, 12, 14, 18, 20, 21, 23, and 24 must not be driven by the
connected equipment (modem, modem eliminator, or host).
5. PINs 18 and 23 are in IBM cables but currently are not used.
