Use to go back and overwrite an incorrect digit.
Return to main menu.

Adjusting backlighting

Scanning

From the Menu system, select Scanning, and confi rm with OK.
Scanning options:
All scan inhibit - exclude a channel from the scan cycle.
All scan reset - reset all inhibited channels.
All scan show - showing all inhibited channels.
Memory scan select - select channels to be used in the Memory scan cycle.
Memory scan clear - remove all previously selected channels.
Memory scan show - showing all channels selected for Memory scan.
Scan dwell time - select the amount of time the RS82 remains on a channel,
after it has locked on to it during a scanning function.
Scroll up/down to select an option.
Confi rm selection, and return to main menu.
From the Menu system, select Numbers and GROUP
MMSI, and confi rm with OK.
To enter the Group MMSI number, press OK again.
The fi rst digit is always "0" and this is pre-selected by
the radio. Enter remaining 8 digits using the numeric
keypad and confi rm with OK.
Both the LCD display and the keypad are backlit.
Adjust the backlighting level from OFF through level 1
(bright) to 5.
Confi rm with OK, and/or exit with ON/C.
