SETTING THE RED LINE THRESHOLD
(WITH ENGINE OFF ONLY)
When the maximum rpm set is excee-
ded, the red line warning light LED

" (2) positioned on the dashboard

starts flashing.
If the push button D is pressed for less
than one second, the tachometer pointer
(4) shifts to the red line value set for 3 se-
conds, after which it returns to its initial po-
sition.

To set:
Press the push button D, release it and
press it again within 3 seconds.
The tachometer pointer (4) moves incre-
asing the value by 1,000 rpm at each cli-
ck, as long as D is kept pressed; when it
has reached the maximum value, it starts
again from the beginning.
Press the push button D until the desi-
red rpm value has been set.
If the push button D is released and then
pressed again within 3 seconds, intermit-
tently, the tachometer pointer (4) moves
increasing the value by 100 rpm at each
click; when it has reached the maximum
value, it starts again from the beginning.

NOTE
It is not possible to set the red li-
ne at values lower than 2,000 rpm or hi-
gher than 12,000 rpm.
Never exceed the recommended rpm,
see p. 80 (RUNNING-IN).
To confirm, release the push button D.
After 3 seconds, the red line threshold
setting is stored.
NOTE
The rpm setting is confirmed
when the red warning light LED "
illuminates.
