Venting the heating system

When the system has been emptied of all fluid, it must
be bled after being filled again. If the heat only goes a
metre or so into the pipes from the boiler, this is a good
sign that there is air in the system.
The venting takes place through the automatic air vent on
the boiler and the air nipples in the caravan (see "
tion of the air nipples
The air nipple is connected to a hose or fixed to a rubber
connection on the heating system. In some models the hose
is attached with a staple.
When venting, the air nipple must be up in a horizontal
position.
