4. Select an access point, and click [Connect].
5. Input the key you set for the access point to recognize the computer, and click [Next].

If you use the stealth type wireless LAN access point which restricts automatic detection of the wireless LAN access point, take the fol-

lowing procedure.
If you do not perform the procedure below, you may not be able to access the wireless LAN access point automatically or the wireless
LAN access point may not be displayed.
1. Click
on the task tray, and then click [Hidden network].
2. Click [Connect], enter the necessary information such as the network name (SSID), and click [Next].
For further information, ask the system administrator or the person in charge of the network.

Using the wireless LAN and 2nd wireless LAN in the same frequency band may cause radio wave interference, resulting in reduction
in the communication speed, noise occurrence or connection failure. Set and use different frequency bands between the wireless LAN
and 2nd wireless LAN.
Since the occurrence of interference cannot be avoided even if the channels are set with the maximum distance between them in the
same frequency band, set and use different frequency bands between the wireless LAN and 2nd wireless LAN as shown below.
We recommend that you use the following settings.
Wireless LAN: 5 GHz
2nd Wireless LAN: 2.4 GHz
Enabling/Disabling the Wireless LAN Standard IEEE802.11a (802.11a)
1. Click
(Start) -
2. Click [Enabled] or [Disabled] for the wireless LAN IEEE802.11a.
<Only for model with 2nd wireless LAN>
IEEE802.11a can not be set separately for wireless LAN and 2nd wireless LAN. The setting of the wireless LAN will be reflected.

In some countries, communication using IEEE802.11a (5 GHz wireless LAN) standard is restricted by law.

If IEEE802.11a is enabled or disabled while the computer is connected to an IEEE802.11b/g access point, the connection will be tem-

porarily interrupted.
