Adjusting the feed dog angle

The standard angle for the feed dog is when the mark
(2) on the feed bar shaft (1) is aligned with the reference
line (4) on the feed rocker base arm (3).

Tilt back the machine head.

Loosen the set screw (5).

Insert a screwdriver into the slit (6) in the feed bar
shaft (1), and turn it to make the adjustment.

Tighten the set screw (5).
• When the angle of the feed dog is adjusted, the
forward-back position of the feed dog will change.
Loosen the two screws (7) and adjust the
forward-back position of the feed dog in
accordance with the needle (for lower feed, in
accordance with the needle plate).
• In addition, when the angle of the feed dog is
adjusted, the height of the feed dog will also
change, so readjust the height of the feed dog.
