Probable cause
You have attempted to play
a playlist, but no playlist is stored
on the USB device
Playlist is damaged or invalid
Ì The playlist does not contain
multimedia files
Ì The .wpl is too big for Ford
Audio memory
Ì The playlist does not contain
multimedia file references found
on your USB device
The digital audio is damaged or invalid
The USB device has been removed
from the car USB port with the
ignition key at STOP
Possible solution
Build a playlist on your computer using your
media file software and then copy it to your USB
device
Ì Make sure the playlist is in .m3u format
Ì Build the playlist again following the instructions
given in section BUILDING PLAYLISTS FOR
Ford Audio – PRACTICAL TIPS
Ì If the problem persists, delete the playlist
from your USB device
Ì Delete the playlist from your USB device or
insert the multimedia files in the playlist, using
your software for managing multimedia files
Ì Reduce the number of songs in the
playlist, using your multimedia file
management software
If the digital audio is damaged, delete it from your
USB device
Ì Press SRC/OK or the dedicated buttons FM,
AM, CD on the sound system panel to
change the active audio source
Ì With the key at MAR insert and remove the
USB device from the USB on the car
Ì To avoid displaying of MEDIAPLAYER
indication in absence of USB device always
remove the USB device when the ignition key
is at MAR, or stop playback (with voice
command STOP) before removing the USB
device from the car USB port
