Playback and recording during dubbing
While copying (High speed dubbing), the disc drives
(HDD, DVD) can play or record (not possible while
moving a file).
• While dubbing from HDD to DVD, HDD can play or
record. DVD cannot.
• While dubbing from DVD to HDD, no other
operations are available.
• While dubbing from HDD to HDD, DVD can play or
record. HDD cannot.
• While dubbing from HDD to DVD, HDD cannot play
and record at the same time.
• While dubbing from HDD to HDD, DVD cannot play
and record at the same time.
• Dubbing may be cancelled if the start time of a
timer programme recording is reached, as time
programme recording has priority over dubbing.
• While the recorder is performing dubbing and
recording at the same time, CONTENT MENU
cannot be displayed.

On dubbing from a DVD-R (VR mode)
Copy-free contents recorded in a DVD-R (VR mode)
can be dubbed to the HDD. However, please note that
moving content does not restore the disc space of the
