Connecting and turning on

With the controls on the FRONT of the TV:
If the red power-on light on the front is unlit,
press the POWER button on the FRONT to
switch the set on, then press a number button
on the remote control to see the screen.

With the controls on the SIDE of the TV:
If the red power-on light on the front is unlit, press the
POWER button on the SIDE to switch the set on, then press
a number button on the remote control to see the screen.
GREEN = Telephone line
...and with the remote control:
Press the Standby Button
This allows you to put the set into standby mode when leaving the TV
unattended for short periods of time. To return to TV mode press the
button, or any of the numbered buttons on the remote control.
The picture may take a few seconds to appear.
