6. Use the following figure to understand how addresses in the bus/board/card format relate to the
bus-bus-bus-bus/card-card/board-board format. You can also use the figure to understand how
addresses in the bus, board, and card format relate to the direct select addresses used in Part
locations and location codes.

Note: When converting from bus/board/card format to bus-bus-bus-bus/card-card/board-board
format, the numbers must be converted from decimal to hexadecimal.
Go to step 10 on page 16 for IOA and device address information.

location information in the FRU detail is only available for IOPs, IOAs, and devices.
