Selecting a track

Selecting using the current track list
To display the current track list: press the
X
controller in the basic display.
The category list appears.
Select the current track list.
To select a track: turn the controller and press
X
to confirm.
Selecting by skipping to a track
To skip forwards or backwards to a track: turn
X
or briefly slide 1 the controller in the
media basic display.
or
Press the E or F button.
X
Fast forwarding/rewinding
In the media basic display, press and hold the
X
E or F button until the desired position
is reached.
Search
In Media mode, slide 6 the controller.
X
The media menu bar is shown.
To select Search: turn and press the control-
X
ler.
The category list is shown.
Select a category, e.g. Genres.
X
After the category has been chosen, sub-cat-
egories appear depending on the available
music tracks.
Select a sub-category, e.g. Rock.
X
Select a track in the sub-category for playing.
X
All of the tracks in this sub-category are
played.
Media search
General notes
The multimedia system plays back files from the
following data media:
Disc (audio CD)
R
Memory card
R
USB storage device
R
®
Apple devices (folder, year and photos are
R
not available)
The categories are shown according to the data
available, whereby a database is created for
®
and for all the other media sources (CD,
iPod
USB, SD card) respectively. During the search
the relevant database is accessed depending on
the active media source.
Starting the media search
In Media mode, slide 6 the controller.
