7. Adjusting the presser foot pressure (upper feed roller) and
the height of the presser foot (upper feed roller)
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

Adjusting the height of the upper feed roller
Adjustment of the height of upper feed roller ❶ can be performed by adjusting the position of screw ❷ (in case of
6390-7) or presser lifter stopper screw ❸ (in case of 6390). (Adjusting value at the time of delivery : 13 mm)
* Adjust the lifting amount of upper feed roller ❶ within the range of 14 mm or less.
1) Turn presser lifting lever ❶ in the direction of A to stop
2) The presser foot goes up approximately 4.5 mm and
