Setting up the IP address (optional)

The IPC requires an IP address in your company network to operate the connectivity module
and to establish the connection to SIDRIVE IQ.
The LAN interface "X1 P1" of the IPC to connect with the Internet is configured as DHCP client
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). The LAN interface automatically sources an IP address
from the next accessible DHCP server. When required, via a Remote Desktop Connection, you
can deactivate DHCP for the LAN interface "X1 P1" and assign a fixed IP address.
