System and background applications will take up a certain portion of your total storage.
9.2 What can I do if my phone does not have sufficient
storage?

If you have inserted a microSD card into your phone, move your photos, songs, videos,
and other files to the microSD card.

Uninstall applications you no longer use.
Go to the Settings screen, touch Manage apps, select the application you want to
uninstall, touch Uninstall, and follow the onscreen instructions to remove the
application.
