Setting the Bluetooth Connection

With BLUETOOTH technology, you can place a hands-free call by a BLUETOOTH-equipped mobile phone.
Audio information of a device such as BLUETOOTH compatible mobile phone and portable audio player is controllable/playable wirelessly
from this unit.
Setting item: Bluetooth Setup
Setting contents:
OFF / ON (Initial setting)
FF:
O
Disable the hands-free call function and Bluetooth audio function.
ON:
Select this item when you want to pair a Bluetooth compatible phone with this unit or use Bluetooth audio function.

Setting the Bluetooth Device

This unit can pair at most 3 Bluetooth compatible devices. Select one from the list of previously paired devices.
Setting item: Setting Bluetooth Device

Turn the Rotary encoder to select a Bluetooth compatible device you want to use (you want to change connection), and then press the
Rotary encoder.

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the type of device (phone, Bluetooth Audio or both) you want to connect, and then press the Rotary
encoder.
The status indicator of a successfully connected device (phone & Bluetooth Audio) lights up.
Notes
• Depending on the connected Smartphone, the battery charge and signal strength may be displayed on screen.
• If all 3 devices have been paired with the unit, a 4th device cannot be paired. If you want to pair another device, one of the previously
paired devices at Position 1 to 3 should be deleted.
Pairing a BLUETOOTH Device from the unit
Searching can be performed on this unit when less than 3 devices are paired with it.

After entering Setting the Bluetooth Device screen, turn the Rotary encoder to select "No Device", and then press the Rotary encoder.
Press the button to stop searching.
Be sure this operation is performed on the Bluetooth device with Bluetooth ON.

The screen will display the searched Bluetooth device name. Turn the Rotary encoder to select a device, and press the Rotary encoder for
Bluetooth pairing.
When the pairing is successful, "Connected" is displayed on screen.

Setting the Visible Mode

You can set whether this unit can be recognized by a BLUETOOTH compatible device. Normally set this to ON.
Setting item: Visible Mode
Setting contents:
OFF / ON (Initial setting)
OFF:
This unit cannot be searched from the mobile phone when making Bluetooth pairing.
ON:
This unit can be searched from the mobile phone when making Bluetooth pairing.
