Ambient temperature of electronic and cable glands assembled to SITRANS TS500
If electronic and cable glands are assembled, their minimum permitted ambient temperature must also be rated up to the
minimum ambient temperature shown in the table above, otherwise the minimum ambient temperature of the complete
SITRANS TS500 is derated accordingly. Check the operating instructions of your used electronic and cable gland for more
information.
Note
Siemens temperature transmitters SITRANS TH as well as HAN 7D and M12 (option codes G12 and G13) connectors are
not rated to -50 °C but -40 °C.

Due to the PTFE sealing, standard compression fittings are limited to a maximum
temperature of 200 °C.
