Synchronizer Clutch Hub

A ball-type detent mechanism is used in each clutch hub to reduce the overall
dimensions of the hub.
•
The ball-type detent mechanism consists of a coil-type synchronizer key spring,
synchronizer key, and ball. Its function is essentially the same as the radial-type spring
found in other transaxles.
