Calls above the Max. Bandwidth will be downspeeded to the
call rate specified in Max. Bandwidth.
Calls below the Max. Bandwidth will be connected at the requested call rate.
Direct Inwards Dialing
When DID is enabled, all incoming calls within the PRI number range will be forwarded to an IP/H.323 endpoint
except calls received to the IVR and Hotline ISDN numbers.
No. Significant Digits
Specify the number of significant digits in the PRI Number range that should be used to generate an H.323 Alias
(IP number).
Example:
Your ISDN PRI number range is from 67124000 to 67124050.
You want your IP endpoints to have the numbers (H.323 Alias) in the range 4000 - 4050.
Set 'No. Significant Digits' to 4.
To call an IP endpoint with H.323 Alias 4020 from ISDN, dial the ISDN number 67124020.
Prefix (E.164)
When receiving an incoming call, a number prefix can be added to the range of digits specified under 'No.
Significant Digits'. This is useful where the IP endpoints also use H.323 Prefix for placing calls on IP.
Example:
Your ISDN PRI number range is from 67124000 to 67124050.
You want your IP endpoints to have the numbers (H.323 Alias) in the range 94000 - 94050.
In the ISDN Dial In Configuration, set 'No. Significant Digits' to 4 and 'Prefix (E.164)' to 9.
To call an IP endpoint with H.323 Alias 94020 from ISDN, dial the ISDN number 67124020.
Max. Bandwidth
The call rate for incoming calls will automatically be determined by the endpoint. However, you can use this
setting to restrict the call rate for Direct Inwards Dialing calls.
Calls above the Max. Bandwidth will be downspeeded to the
call rate specified in Max. Bandwidth.
Calls below the Max. Bandwidth will be connected at the requested call rate.
