Select the VCR Video Channel by setting the VIDEO CHANNEL SELECTOR switch to CH3 or 4 whichever
is not being used for TV broadcasts in your area.
Press the POWER button
to
ON.
Press the VlDEOrrV button
to
VIDEO.

broadcast in your

When setting the TV video channel selector position, particularly on
s o f t
touch TV's, it is usually
more convenient if the position which is shown when the
l V
is first switched
on
is used as the
Video Channel. Generally, t h i s channeb is the top one (in a vertical arrangement)
or
the furthest left
one (in a horizontal arrangement).
For a rotary channel selection TV, select channel 3
or
4 depending on the VCR Video Channel you
selected in

If the picture you selected in
is not clear, push in the fine
TV tune adjustment
knob and adjust for best picture detail.

A clear picture will not be .obtained in these steps unless the TV is properly fine-tuned to the Video
Channel. If difficulties are encountered, or a dear picture with color cannot be obtained, the following
optional method may be used:
Set the TV to the Video Channel (3 or 4).
Press the POWER button to ON.
Play back a prerecorded tape.
Adjust the
l V
receiver fine tuning until a clear picture with color is obtained.
The
l V
is now properly finetuned to the Video Channel.
