status LEDs for the interfaces.

Interpreting Status LEDs for NetScreen-5GT
The device status LEDs indicate whether it is operating properly. The following table
describes the status possibilities for each.

The port status LEDs indicate whether the ports on the NetScreen-5GT are operating
properly. The following table describes the possible status for the ports.

Port Status LEDs
Status LED
Meaning of the LED
Solid On indicates the system is receiving power
Off indicates the system is not receiving power.
Solid On indicates the system is starting up.
Blinking On indicates the system is functioning.
Blinking On indicates a diagnostics or system initialization error.
Off indicates the system is not operational.
Meaning of the LED
Blinking On indicates the device detects Ethernet traffic for the port.
Off indicates the port has not established a link with another device.
Solid On indicates the port has established a link with another device.
Solid On indicates the port is connected to a 100 Base-T device.
Solid On indicates the port is connected to a 10 Base-T device.
