2-1-2. Error Indications and Countermeasures

This switcher performs self-diagnostics when you turn the
power on or press the reset button on the CPU board (CA-
65) that functions as the main board, as well as at regular
intervals during operation. If the self-diagnostics detect an
error, the status indicator lights, and information about the
error is output to the control terminal (terminal emulator
on a PC).
Status Indicators
Status indicators may be unstable for several seconds when
the power is turned on, but this is not a problem.

The error code and ERROR No. shown in the status
display on the CA-65 board also indicate errors.
You can easily determine the origin of an error through
such indications.
The errors indicated with the status indicators and in the
display window, as well as their respective
countermeasures, are shown in the tables below.

• Replace a defective fan
unit or optional board.

optional board.
Check the meaning of the
error and take the
countermeasures.
• Make settings and
connections of the
REMOTE 1 and
NETWORK connectors.
• Supply the reference video
signal or set the timing of
switching crosspoints to
ASYNC.
