4.8 Fitting the ash lip

1. Secure the ash lip in place (fi g. 12A) using the screws
provided (fi g. 12B).
4.9 Handle
If you want a fi rm handle, you can mount the screw (M5x20mm)
that you will fi nd in the service bag. The vertical position of the
handle can be adjusted by turning the set screw on the locking
device.
4.10 Equipping the Jøtul F 145 for use
in UK smoke controlled areas
• Above the door opening there are 2 bolts, one either side
of the secondary air inlet.

1. Remove the left hand bolt.
2. Position the adaptor plate against the front casting, aligning
the centre hole with the threaded bolt-hole.
3. Ensure that the secondary air slide is free and able to be
operated.
