CHROMATONE
A Chromatone switch is located on the back of this
instrument enabling you to add a warm sepia tone and
extra dimension to conventional black-and-white pictures.
The Chromatone feature is also very effective in color
broadcasts by adding warm beauty and depth to a normal
color picture
.
To enjoy this fine added feature, simply
move the Chromatone switch to the ON position.
AUTOMATIC OFF
As a special feature, the unique innovation of Automatic
Off has been incorporated into your instrument. If you
should happen to fall asleep while viewing during the
late hours, this unit will turn itself "Off" automatically
within approximately two minutes after the station leaves
the air.
SPEAKER SELECTOR
A three position speaker switch controls the operation of
the speakers
.
When the Speaker Selector is in the "BOTH"
position, the external and the instrument speakers will
operate. When in the IIExternal" position only, the external
speakers will operate
.
NOTE: If you have not added external speakers to your
instrument, the
Speaker Selector switch must
remain in the "Internal
/6 position.
REAR CONTROLS
The Sharpness, Horizontal, Contrast and Vertical con-
trols are located on the back of the instrument and are
identified by screening on top of the instrument and also
on the cabinet back.
SHARPNESS
The Sharpness control adjusts the detail of the picture
to compensate for variance in transmission. Should
the picture seem blurred or fuzzy

adjust the Sharpness
control for satisfactory viewing
.
HORIZONTAL "TEAR

Adjust Horizontal or Vertical control until the picture
locks in place.
