TUNING
An Automatic Tuning switch is located on the back of
the set. When this switch is in the On position, your
set
will "Seek-Out" only those channels on the air
Automatically when you follow the aformentioned VHF
/
UHF Channel Selection procedure. If you
wish,
you may
move this switch to the Off position and the VHF
channel selection will stop at every channel automati-
call y; however, the UHF tuning will not function auto-
matically.

ANT AUTOMATIC COLOR
Instant Automatic Color
is
a unique feature pioneered
and developed by Magnavox to do the precision job of
fine tuning the television signal for the best possible
VHF CHANNEL
SELECTOR
VHF
black-and-white or color picture. It makes manual fine
tuning
unnecessary
after
having been pre-set. Refer to
the paragraph
with
the heading PRE-SET VHF FINE
TUNING
.
Under normal
operating
conditions the IN-
ST ANT
AUTO COLOR switch located on the rear of
this unit must be left in the ON position.
PRE-SET
VHF
FINE TUNING
To pre-set the fine tuning on VHF stations, depress the
Fine Tuning
knob and
rotate
it
to the
best color picture,
when
transmission is
in
color. Then release it and the
Instant Automatic Color
will "lock-in"
this picture auto-
matically to coincide
with
the best sound. Once you
have pre-set the fine tuning for any
VHF station, you
need only select that
channel
when viewing
it
again.
