Notice
Any trigger configuration can be configured for a PLC trace. With the trigger for a
PLC trace, please note that the triggering sequence of the trigger must always be
slower than the full recording duration of a trace including the pre-cycles.
This means that entire cycles * cycle time is the minimum duration until the same
PLC trace can be triggered again.
Depending on the length of the trace, the PLC requires additional cycles for the
data for the recorded trace to be retrieved.
If the next trigger is triggered for a trace before the data of the current trace has
been fully saved, the data cannot be recorded as it is not possible to record in
parallel. Should this occur, the history records that the data is missing for the
event.
If the next trigger is triggered before after the data for the last trace has been
saved but before all of the data could be captured for the pretrigger, the oldest
data will be missing in the pretrigger recording. All of the data is always available
at the latest from the trigger timepoint.
