11-8 PREPARATION for LONG ABEYANCE
1) Perform the above 1 1

1 and 1 1-2 maintenance job.
2) Drain fuel from the fuel tank.
3) To prevent rust in the cylinder bore, apply oil through the breather hole on the surface of rocker cover and made
cranking for 2
-
3 times and then fit the rocker cover. Don't apply too much oil as the excess oil will be collected in
the combustion chamber
of
the piston.
4) Turn cranking handle and leave it where the restance is the heaviest.
5 ) Clean the engine outside with oiled cloth. Put a vinyl or other cover over the engine and store the engine in dry place.
