3.2.11 NK82xx serial configuration

Note: Not all subsystems are configurable for MK8000. Refer to section 3.1.
System architecture
This configuration allows for integration of a number of Cerloop (proprietary Class A
loop), Cerban and/or RS485 connectable control panels. In addition it allows for CS6
Guarto integration via LON-bus. One of the NK82xx Serial Ports provides the liaison
for a local management station (MM8000/MK8000).
Communication/connection
The NK82xx is connected on upstream side via RS-232 (proprietary CMSDL protocol)
to the management system.
Note: A (temporary) Ethernet network link is required for configuration download.
On the downstream side, the NK82xx is connected via serial lines and/or via LON-bus
to a number of different fire & security control units.
