START AND OPERATING ENGINE CASING To inspect and maintain the engine and battery, re- move the engine casing as follows: 1. Unscrew the fuel cap/fuel gauge. 2. SERVICE PROGRAM In order to keep the machine in good condition, as regards reliability and operational safety as well as from an environmental perspective, STIGA’s serv- ice program should be followed. The contents of this program can be found in the attached service log.
The engine oil may be very warm if it is drained off directly after the engine is shut off. Therefore, allow the engine to cool a few minutes before draining the oil. 1. Oil drain pipe (metal): Unscrew the oil drain plug at the end of the pipe. Let the oil run out into a collection vessel.
