The supervision function

Programming on your terminal the supervision of a set of terminals enables you to:
• Know the status of supervised terminals (free, called, busy)
• Quickly pick up calls on these terminals
• Call these terminals directly.
Remarque :
this function will be programmed by your system operator. Using an expan-
sion module gives an immediate view of the programmed keys, regardless of whether the
terminal is idle or communicating.

Communicating with the supervision function

When the terminal supervision function has been programmed on a key of your terminal,
the status of the indicator light associated with the programmed key varies according to the
status of the supervised terminal.
Picking up a call when your terminal is idle:
Privileged
* Selon programmation effectuée par l'exploitant système
• When the supervised terminal is in standby mode, the indicator
light is green.
• When the line of the supervised terminal is busy, the indicator
light is red.
• When a call arrives on the supervised terminal, the associated
indicator light turns yellow and, depending on the programming,
an audible signal* is emitted on your terminal.
Two possibilities are offered, depending on the programming
carried out by the system operator:
• Picking up a call directly when your terminal is idle:
• Check the identifier of the intercom group and pick up or do not
pick the call.
Remarque :
If required, contact your system operator for addi-
tional information on these two possibilities.
Option "Pick up a call directly":
Picking up a call when your terminal is idle:
The supervised terminal is called and the indicator light turns
yellow:
• Press the supervised programmed key to pick up the call.
