Connecting the water supply hose

• To prevent leakage or water damage, make sure to follow the instructions in this
section when connecting the washing machine to your water supply.
• Do not kink, crush, modify or sever the water inlet hose.
Connect the supplied cold water supply hose to an ordinary laundry tap following the
instructions below:
• Attach straight end of the hose to your cold water tap. While holding the hose, turn
the coupling nut clockwise to tighten securely by hand. [If you need to detach the
hose, first turn off the tap, then turn the nut anticlockwise to loosen (Fig. 6).]
• Attach the curved end of the hose to the inlet valve of the washing machine.
Tighten the coupling nuts securely by hand (Fig. 7).
Fig. 6
• Turn on the taps and check for leaks. In case of leakage, repeat the connection
steps above, or tighten the nuts more firmly. If your water pressure is strong, close
the water tap completely, then open it slightly.
• When tightening the coupling nut, take care not to damage the water inlet valve
joint. Apply force evenly and do not twist the water inlet valve.
• Use only the new (supplied) hose with your new appliance. Do not use a hose
from an existing machine, or one that has been used previously.
