There may be cases of colour due to the concentration of
kitchen vapour changes where the unit hangs beneath
painted ceilings, fluorescent lighting, cupboards etc, so
attaching a heat shield is recommended.
The unit should have over 60cm clearance in front and over
45mm to the sides.
Fit water outlet to the middle bottom of the unit and tighten the nut as shown.
Clear all filings, swarf etc from both water and gas lines, then connect the water and gas.
Check the unit is not too close to combustibles, nothing obstructing daily use and
maintenance, that accessories have been installed correctly, and that the unit is firmly
attached.
When installation is completed thoroughly test the operation of the appliance, check gas
pressures and carefully leak test all gas joints using a soap and water solution. Do Not Use
A Naked Flame. Refit any panels that have been removed then instruct the customer on the
use and operation of the appliance.
