Four-Thread Ultra-Stretch Mock Safety Stitch and
the Taping Foot
The optional Taping Foot is designed to add reinforcement to stress areas
of knit or loosely–woven garments by inserting a stabilizing twill tape to
the seams. The tape prevents the seam from "stretching out" or losing its
shape. The foot keeps the tape in place, making it easy to sew straight.
Example:
The shoulder seam in a sweater knit top.

twill tape will be applied as the seam is sewn.
