Operating Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMpORTANT SAFETy INFORMATION section at the beginning of this
manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
Tool Set Up
TO pREVENT SERIOUS INJURy FROM AccIDENTAL OpERATION:
Make sure that the Trigger is in the off-position and unplug the tool from its
electrical outlet before performing any procedure in this section.
1. Select the appropriate Die for
the pipe to be threaded.
Note: Dies are intended for use on
standard schedule 40 steel pipe.
2. Insert Die into the Die Holder of the
Pipe Threader. (See Figure A.) Make sure the
Die is secured in place before proceeding.

Note: Dies can be inserted from either side
of Pipe Threader, provided the Clamp and
rotation direction are properly configured.
Note: Dies are held in place with a retaining ring, so
removing a properly-inserted Die may require light
tapping with a wooden mallet (sold separately).
3. Fill the Oil Can with Thread Cutting Oil
(not included). Keep it nearby during
the threading operation.
