Connecting the water drainage
system
– The dishwasher drain is equipped
with a non-return valve which
prevents dirty water from flowing
back into the dishwasher via the
drain hose.
– The dishwasher drainage hose
should be connected to a separate
on-site drain for the dishwasher only.
If no separate drain is available, we
recommend connecting it to a dual-
chamber suction lance.
– The dishwasher is supplied with an
approx. 1.5 m (59") flexible drain
hose with an internal diameter of
22 mm (7/8").
Clamps for connecting the hose are
included with the dishwasher.
– The drain hose must not be
shortened! The hose can be
extended by a connecting piece and
an additional hose. The drainage
length must not be longer than 4 m
(13' 1 1/2") and the delivery head
must not exceed 1 m (3' 3 3/8").
– The drainage system must be able to
handle a discharge rate of at least
16 L/min (4.2 gal/min).
Make sure that there are no kinks
in the hose, and that it is not crushed
or stretched.

Venting the drainage system
The drainage system must be vented if
the on-site connection is situated lower
than the guide path for the lower basket
rollers in the door. Otherwise a
siphoning effect during a program can
cause the commercial dishwasher to
empty itself of water.
To vent it:
 Open the commercial dishwasher
door fully.
 Pull the lower spray arm firmly
upwards to remove it.
 Cut off the cover of the vent valve in
the wash cabinet.
