  • Page 2 1) OVERVIEW The Octapad SPD-30 is an extremely versatile electronic percussion pad and works in a variety of setups; from a stand alone piece, to a small mini-kit, to a great addition to an acoustic (hybrid set) or electronic drum set to a percussion setup.
  • Page 3 3) QUICK DEMO 1) Play patches 1-20 to hear the wide variety of expressive sounds 2) Make a Phrase Loop 3) Point out the 4 dual-trigger inputs for expansion MAKE A PHASE LOOP (Version 2): 1) Select Patch 1 “Tight Drums” 2) Hold down PLAY and then push STANDBY 3) Hit any pad to start the phrase loop (part 1 is already pre-recorded)
