GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 24/2002, the 24-month warranty applies to a product with lack of
conformity, provided that the product has been installed and used correctly, in accordance with its
intended use and with the requirements laid out in this manual.
In case of lack of conformity, MANTIS s.r.l. shall restore the equipment's conformity by
repairing/replacing it as quickly as possible, in accordance with the return and shipping time
requirements of the product or products.
The customer must send, at his/her own expense, the equipment or the part of the equipment that
needs to be replaced or repaired to Mantis s.r.l., Via Artigianale Croce 13, Castelnovo ne' Monti
(RE), Italy.
The replacement and/or repair of the parts covered by warranty shall in no case extend the terms
of the warranty. The replaced parts shall become property of Mantis s.r.l., Via Artigianale Croce
13, Castelnovo ne' Monti (RE), Italy.
No direct or indirect damage claims shall be accepted for the lack of use of the equipment during
its downtime due to malfunction or non-conformity, since the equipment shall be intended as non
essential for the customer's activity. Furthermore, it shall not possible to report any indirect
damage for the failure of the product itself.
The warranty therefore covers exclusively manufacturing defects and non-conformity of the
product. Any component subject to natural wear and tear shall always be excluded from the
Warranty.
The warranty shall not apply in case of tampering, repair and/or alteration carried out by
non-authorised people.
The warranty shall not apply in case of damages caused by accidents, electrical malfunctions on
the power supply line, natural disasters, neglect or inappropriate maintenance.
Claims must be sent exclusively to Mantis s.r.l.
All shipments shall be returned to the Sender, at his/her own expense, in the following cases:
- shipments sent to Mantis s.r.l. COD, which shall not be accepted pursuant to the Warranty
terms;
- shipments which do not include original packages, accessories and manuals;
- shipments received with unsuitable or inappropriate outside package, which have been
damaged during transport.
If the product sent to Mantis s.r.l. has been somehow tampered with or if the labels indicating the
serial number have been removed or damaged, Mantis s.r.l. reserves the right to assess the
validity of the Warranty.
The Customer shall have no right to damages or compensation. Furthermore, any contractual or
non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to people and/or objects due to
non-conforming use of the equipment is excluded, in accordance with the provisions contained in
the use and maintenance manual.
In case of disputes, the court having jurisdiction is the Court of Reggio Emilia (Italy).
