TAPE CASSETTE PLAYBACK
C a ss ette player operatio n
It is re co m m e n d e d to use only high
quality c a s s e tte s w ith a p layb ack tim e
o f n o t m ore than 90 m in u te s (C 90).
To play a ca sse tte , in s e rt th e c a s s e tte
(tape side firs t, side " 1 " o r " A " fa cin g
up) th ro u g h th e ca s s e tte d o o r. G en tly
push th e c a ss e tte in to th e s lo t until
the m o to riz e d -lo a d in g system
engages the ca sse tte . The u n it w ill
the n sw itc h fro m radio to c a ss e tte
playback.
A u to m a tic tape te n s io n in g w ill take up
any p o s sib le tape s la ck b e fo re the
be g in n in g o f playback.
A s w itc h e d -o ff u n it can be a u to m a ti­
cally tu rn e d -o n by lo ad ing a ca sse tte .
Track selection
W hen the end of th e firs t tra c k is
reached, the unit a u to m a tica lly re ­
verse s to play the se c o n d tra ck. The
tape tra c k can also be se le c te d by
brie fly p re ss in g the c a s se tte tra c k
s e le c to r b u tto n Q Q . The tra c k
s e le cte d is in d ica te d by th e re s p e c ­
tive in d ic a to r lam p in th e b u tto n .
