Powerful and with a large capacity, La Moulinette is
fast, effective and easy to clean. In just a few
seconds, it chops:
- parsley, garlic, onions, herbs,
- raw and cooked meat,
- ham, boiled eggs,
- walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, rusks, hard
chesses, etc.

Safety recommendations

- Please read the instructions for use carefully
before using your appliance for the first time. This
product has been designed for domestic use only.
- Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to
comply with the instructions, the manufacturer
accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will
not apply.
- This appliance is not a toy; keep it out of the reach
of children.
- This appliance should not be used without
assistance by persons whose physical, sensory or
mental capacities prevent them from using it in
complete safety.
- Check that the voltage of your appliance
corresponds to that of the mains voltage. Any
connection error renders the guarantee invalid.
- Your appliance is intended solely for domestic,
indoor use.
- Unplug your appliance as soon as you have
finished using it or when cleaning it.
- Do not use your appliance if it is not working
correctly or if it has been damaged.
- Handle the blade (D) with care: it is extremely
sharp AND HAS A CUTTING EDGE.
- Any intervention other than standard cleaning and
maintenance by the customer must be carried out
by a Moulinex approved service centre.
- Do not put the motor unit (A), the power cord or
the plug in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the
plug is damaged. So as to avoid any danger, have
it replaced by a Moulinex approved service centre
(see list in the after-sales service booklet).

Using your appliance

Before using for the first time, wash and dry the
parts that will be in contact with foodstuffs.
- Place the motor unit (A) onto a flat, stable,
heat-resistant surface.
Do not plug in your Moulinette.
- Place the chopping bowl (C) onto the motor unit
(A).
- Place the blade (D) onto the central axis inside the
bowl, pressing on the white part of it until you hear
it click into the locking position. (sketch 2)
Caution, the blades are sharp.
- Place the food cut into pieces into the bowl.
- Fit and lock the lid (E) unto the bowl (C), turning it
in an anti-clockwise direction. (sketch 3)
Only at this point can you plug in your Moulinette.
- Press the control button (B) to start the Moulinette
immediately. (sketch 4)
- To stop the appliance, release the pressure on the
button and it will quickly stop.
Never remove the lid until the blade has come to
a complete standstill.
- Unplug the appliance after each operation and
before cleaning.
- Unlock the lid by turning it in a clockwise direction
and then lift it off.
- To remove the blade (D), first take the bowl (C)
with one hand and press the blade button with
your thumb. (sketch 5)
- Then remove the blade (D) from inside the bowl
(C) before using your chopped preparation.

Practical tips

- Important: you will obtain better chopping results
if you operate the appliance in short pulses or
bursts.
- Press the control button for varying lengths of time
according to the fineness desired.
- To obtain fine and even chopping results, unstick
the food with a spatula and redistribute it in the
bowl.
- After extended use, the blade may become blunt
and will need to be replaced with a new one.
