When the engine will not start:
Is there fuel in
the tank?

Is the engine
switch on?
YES
Is the fuel vale
lever on?

Is the enough oil
in the engine?
YES
Is the spark plug
in good
condition?
YES
Is the fuel
reaching the
carburetor?
YES
If the engine still
does not start,
take the
generator to an
authorized
Honda dealer.

To check:
1) Turn off the fuel valve
lever and loosen the
drain screw.
2) Turn on the fuel valve
lever. Fuel should flow
from the drain.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Refill the fuel
tank.
Turn the engine
switch on.
Turn the fuel
valve lever on.
Add the
recommended
oil.
Clean, readjust
gap and dry the
spark plug.
Replace it if
necessary.
Clean the fuel
sediment cup.
