• Airplane mode – After switching to
airplane mode, all wireless connections
are disabled.
• Portable Wi-Fi hotspot – Activate the
Portable WLAN hotspot feature to share
your device's mobile network connection
with PCs or other devices through the
WLAN feature.
- C onfigure Wi-Fi hotspot: Configure
network settings for your WLAN hotspot.
- T imeout: Set the time for the portable
hotspot timeout.
- H elp: View information about using the
tethering features.
• Wi-Fi Direct – Activate the Wi-Fi Direct
feature to connect two devices via a WLAN
without requiring an access point. Refer to
the Wi-Fi information for more details.
• VPN settings – Displays the list of Virtual
Private Networks (VPNs) that you've
previously configured. Allows you to add
different types of VPN.
NOTE: You must set a lock screen PIN or
password before you can use credential
storage.
• Mobile networks – Set options for data
roaming, network mode & operators,
access point names (APNs) and so on.
- D ata enabled: Set to enable data
access over a mobile network.
- D ata roaming: Set the device to
connect to another network when you
are roaming or your home network is not
available.
- N etwork mode: Select a network type.
- A ccess point names: Set up access
point names (APNs).
- U se only 2G networks: Select a
network type.
- N etwork operators: Search for available
networks and select a network for
roaming.
