12.2 Preparing for convergence adjustment
What needs to be done?
To adjust the convergence of the projected image the control knobs of the convergence adjustment
mechanism has to be made accessible and the projector must project the convergence test pattern.
Required tools
•
Flat screwdriver 7 mm
•
Allen wrench 3 mm
How to set up the projector for convergence adjustment?
1.
Remove the left side cover of the projector.
2.
Release the six screws (reference 1 Image 12-3) of the control knobs cover plate. Use a 3 mm Allen wrench.

Remove the cover plate from the control knobs.

4.
Switch on the projector, activate the lasers and open the dowser.
5.
Select the convergence test pattern, which is illustrated below (Image 12-4). Use the communicator to activate
the convergence test pattern.
Note: The convergence test pattern can NOT be activated via the PATTERN button on the Local
Keypad.
