Problem: You are unable to communicate with a ↑ 'Station' in a networked ↑ site.
This may be due to the following causes.
Date and time are not correct
Check the date and time of the ↑ 'Station'.
κ
Date and time are not permanently saved in the 'Station'. If this data is not defined
correctly, it is not possible to communicate with the corresponding 'Station' in the
network or via SintesoWorks.
The date and time must be checked regularly for the following reasons:
The deviation of the internal clock is up to four minutes per month.
When data is downloaded using the 'Download site' function, and when a
'Station' is restarted, the internal clock does not continue working.
If a 'Station' is de-energized, the date and time of the internal clock is lost.
Network cable disconnected too quickly / connection to ↑ 'Station'
not disconnected correctly
If 'Stations' are mounted close to one another, you may be able to move the
network cable from one 'Station' to the next without disconnecting the connection
correctly. If this is done, a connection cannot be immediately re-established on the
next 'Station'.
Disconnect the connection between PC and 'Station':
κ
In SintesoWorks, select the 'Commissioning' > 'Disconnect' command.
Wait at least two minutes before inserting the network cable into the next
'Station'.
When non-stationary FDnet devices have been swapped over in their bases, e.g.,
while work is carried out, the 'Line' is not fault-free.
The following message is shown on the display of the ↑ Person Machine Interface
for each FDnet device that has been swapped over:
'Zone', 'Serial no. ("ID-Nr.")', 'Device missing'
If the FDnet detector line was restarted, the following message is displayed for
each swapped FDnet device:
'Zone', 'Serial no. ("ID-Nr.")', 'Dev.location fault'
Troubleshooting
'Faults' of FDnet devices of the same type that have been swapped over can then
be rectified using the ↑ Person Machine Interface without having to find the
original base.
ϖ The device types in the corresponding bases are correct.
1. Rectify localization errors. Link [➙ 91]
2. Connect the PC to the 'Station'. Link [➙ 27]
3. Load the configuration from the 'Station' to the PC.
4. Disconnect the PC from the 'Station'. Link [➙ 27]
