Fire Safety
1. Switch the ↑ collective detector line off:
Switch off the 'Zone' that is assigned to the collective detector line. The
'Zone' and the physical collective detector line are then switched off at the
same time. Link [➙ 82]
2. Remove all 'Detectors' from bases and put base covers in their place.
3. Remove the wires from the connections on the ↑ line card.
4. Release the end unit from the connection terminal and leave the connection
open.
5. Perform the following isolation measurements with the ohmmeter at a
maximum measurement voltage of 10 V.
Each conductor to each conductor: >1 MΩ
Each conductor to earth: >1 MΩ
Each conductor to shielding: >1 MΩ
Shielding to earth: >1 MΩ
6. If these values are not reached, check the installation for the following causes:
Damp or wet installation or devices.
Troubleshooting
1. Disconnect the ↑ collective detector line in the middle by, e.g., removing the
base cover.
2. Measure each line half on its own.
3. Disconnect the faulty ↑ section, again in the middle.
4. Once the fault has been rectified, reconnect the disconnected line sections
correctly and measure the entire collective detector line.
5. Reinsert the end-of-line element and the 'Detectors'.
6. Connect the collective detector line to the control panel.
