Playing tracks repeatedly

— Repeat Play

You can select:
•Repeat 1 – to repeat a track.
•Repeat 2 – to repeat a disc.

During playback, press (SHIFT).

Press (7) (REP) repeatedly until the
desired setting appears.
B Repeat 1
Repeat Play starts.

Press (SHIFT).
To return to normal playback mode, select
"Repeat off" in step 2 above.
Playing tracks in random
order

— Shuffle Play

You can select:
•Shuf 1 – to play the tracks on the current disc
in random order.
•Shuf 2 – to play the tracks in the current unit
in random order.
•Shuf All – to play all the tracks in all the units
in random order.

During playback, press (SHIFT).

Press (8) (SHUF) repeatedly until the
desired setting appears.

Shuffle Play starts.
* "Shuf All" is only available when you connect
one or more optional MD units, or when you
connect two or more optional CD units.

To return to normal playback mode, select
"Shuf off" in step 2 above.

Creating a programme

— Programme Memory (CD/MD unit with

the programme memory function)

You can play tracks in any order you want by
making your own programmes. You can select
up to 24 tracks for a programme. You can store
the programmes in memory.

During CD/MD playback, press (SHIFT),
then press (4) (PLAY MODE) for two
seconds.
Programme edit mode
If you have labelled the disc, the bank edit
mode appears. Press (4) (PLAY MODE) to
display "P" above.

Select the track you want.
1 Press (SOURCE) repeatedly to select
CD or MD.
2 Press (MODE) repeatedly to select the
unit.
3 Press (SHIFT), then press the number
button ((1) to (10)) to select the disc.
4 Press (SHIFT).
5 Push the SEEK/AMS control up or
down to select the track.
