24. Install the processor-heatsink assembly.
25. Install all removed components on system board.
26. Connect all cables.
27. Install the access panel.
28. Install the server into the rack.
29. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
30. Connect each power cord to the server.
31. Connect each power cord to the power source.
32. Power up the server on page 39.
33. If removed, install the front bezel.
34. Re-enter the server serial number and product ID.

Re-entering the server serial number and product ID

After you replace the system board, the server serial number and the product ID must be configured:
Procedure
1. Access System Utilities. During POST, press F9.
2. On the System Utilities home screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU) > Advanced Options > Advanced Service Options.
3. Select the Serial Number field and press Enter.
The following alert appears:
The serial number is modified by qualified service personnel and must match
the serial number located on the chassis.
