Arm Rest (Front Seats)
Position 1 = arm rest folded up.
Position 2 = for normally inclined
seat back.
Position 3 = for extremely in­
clined seat back.
To adjust arm rest downwards,
press release button (4).
Note:
To move the arm rest between
positions 1 and 2 it may be ne­
cessary to overcome a slight
resistance.
Warning!
The arm rest does not suf­
fice as a child restraint sys­
tem. In case of a frontal
collision a child can be cata­
pulted forward over the
locked arm rest. Infants and
small children should be
seated in a properly secured
restraint system that com­
plies with US Federal Motor
Vehicle Safety Standard 213
and Canadian Motor Vehicle
Safety Standard 213.1.
Arm Rest (Rear Bench Seat)
Pull down the armrest by its strap.
Sedan: The outboard seat belt
buckles adjacent to the arm rest
swing out simultaneously.
