• Attach the air duct as shown in the illustration. Make
sure that the arrow points in the direction of the
winter mode symbol.
• Replace the air filter cover with the winter mode air
filter cover.
• If you operate the product in snow, attach a cover on
top of the starter.
• For (FC2245W), make sure that the wire is
lubricated when you operate the product in cold
environments.
• If the temperature is more than 5°, use the regular
air filter cover. Remove the cover on top of the
starter and adjust the air duct to the initial position.
Make sure that the arrow points in the direction of
the summer mode symbol.

1. Remove the protective cover.

Procedure
Let an approved servicing dealer re-
place the stop switch.
Remove the starter cover and clean
around the starter pawls. Refer to
clean the cooling system and starter
pawls on page 23 .
