PROBABLE CAUSE
Sump Pressure High (Poppet,
Sullicon, Spiral, Blowdown or
Pneumatic Valve Failed).
Faulty solenoid valves.
Faulty pressure regulator.
High Temp Fault.
Fluid level low.
Thermal valve fault.
Cooler fins dirty.
Low water flow.
High water temperature.
Cooler plugged.
Temp probe or sensor failure.
Controller fault.
Module Network Error;
Communication has failed
between the Display Module,
I/O Module and other
modules.
Sensor (Pressure
Transducer, Temp Probe,
etc.) or Wiring Failure.
Demand exceeds capacity.
Leaks in supply lines.
Oil filter clogged.
Sump oil level low.
Low ambient temperature.
Oil pump failure.
Bad sensor or connections.
Machine failed to start.
Low ambient air temperature.
Cooling Water Pressure
Below 10 psi (0.7 bar).
TROUBLESHOOTING
REMEDY
Check valves. Check Sullicon adjustment (see
Control Adjustment section in the compressor
operator's manual).
Check solenoid valve operation and wiring.
Check pressure regulator adjustment and
operation.
Check minimum pressure check valve (not
applicable to Oil Free compressors).
Ambient above 105°F (41°C), improve local
ventilation.
Replenish fluid to proper level.
Check thermal valve operation.
Clean Cooler fins and fan blades.
Check for valve closed, pump off, broken pipe.
Increase water flow or lower water
temperature.
Clean cooler tubes and shell. If plugging
persists, use cleaner water.
Check sensor and wiring.
Contact Sullair Factory Service.
Check wiring.
Check sensor wiring.
Check sensor.
Reduce demands.
Increase capacity.
Check for leaks or open lines in air supply.
Repair as necessary.
Replace oil filter.
Replenish oil to proper level.
Sump heater should be applied in ambient
temps below 40°F (4°C).
Oil pump may be required for remote coolers.
Consult Sullair service department.
Check pressure sensor, wiring and tubing.
Check machine operation.
Sump heater should be applied in ambient
temps below 40°F (4°C).
Check for closed valves or broken pipes.
